Every location. Every week. Scored.

AI callers ghostshop every branch in your network, score each call against your own standards, and show head office exactly where the money is leaking. A week of testing every location costs less than one human mystery-shop call.

The problem

The most expensive 30 seconds in your business

A caller with a broken boiler, a toothache, or a parent who needs care is worth £200 to £40,000 in lifetime revenue. If the phone rings out or nobody tries to book them in, that money walks to a competitor. And head office never knows it happened.

Checks are too rareHuman mystery shopping is so expensive that most brands test each location two to four times a year. Below four to six checks a quarter, the industry’s own guidance calls the data statistical noise.
The gap is invisibleBetween checks, nobody knows which branches greet callers properly, quote prices confidently, or attempt a booking. The league table in your head is a guess.
Training fades fastYou run phone training, scores lift for a fortnight, then drift. Without weekly measurement there is no way to see the drift until the revenue shows it.

Your worst location answers the phone badly 500 times a year. Head office finds out twice.

Based on typical enquiry volumes and two to four human mystery-shop checks a year.

How it works

Four steps. Nothing to install. Nobody has to change how they work.

Receptionist answering a patient call and noting the booking
1
Set your standardGreeting, company name, the right questions, confident pricing, a booking attempt. Whatever your playbook says a great call looks like.
2
We ghostshop every locationRealistic AI callers with rotating voices and scenarios ring each branch through the week, four scored calls per location as standard. Your team does nothing differently. You authorise the programme once, up front, and you approve every number on the list.
3
Every call scored, with receiptsEach point lost links to the exact moment in the recording. Scores attach to locations, not named staff. Coaching material, not surveillance.
4
Watch the league tableSee which branches shine, which bleed calls, and whether last month’s training actually stuck. Updated weekly, not twice a year.

Set up takes days, not months. Most networks have their first full round of scores back within a week of signing.

What you see

Not just a score. The moment that cost it.

A number gets disputed. Evidence gets a training session booked. Every score links to the recording, the transcript, and the exact second things went wrong, so your coaches walk into every conversation armed.

The offer

What a free audit looks like

Ten calls across your network over one week, with different scenarios and different voices. Two locations or two hundred, the audit is shaped to fit. Every call scored against the standards you set, with the recording and the timestamp behind every point lost. Setup is a single twenty-minute call, and there is one debrief at the end, where we hand you the league table whether you go ahead or not.

Credibility and safeguards

Testing a network you do not own is a serious thing. Here is how we handle it.

Signed authorisation firstNo number is dialled until you have authorised your own network in writing, and you approve every location on the list.
Locations, never peopleScores attach to branches, not to named staff. Franchisees see their own results and the moments behind them. It is coaching material and it is designed to be shown to them.
Every number is checkableOur cost comparisons come from published industry rate cards, and the workings behind every figure on this page are available on request.
A kill switch you controlOne message stops all testing on any location or across the whole network, immediately.
UK first, deliberatelyWe launched here because the legal position on brand-authorised testing is clean and well established.

Fair questions

The things every ops director asks first

Is this legal?
Yes, the way we run it. You authorise testing of your own network as part of onboarding, exactly as brands already do with human mystery shopping. Recording and disclosure rules are built into how calls run in each jurisdiction, and we launch UK first where the position for brand-authorised testing is clean and well established.
Will staff know it’s an AI?
Occasionally, and it matters less than you’d think. The behaviours we measure, the greeting, the questions, the price, the booking attempt, all happen in the first minute before suspicion forms. Human mystery shoppers get spotted too, and the industry has worked for decades anyway. We also track a suspected-AI flag on every call so the detection rate is measured, not guessed.
Is this surveillance of my franchisees?
No. Scores attach to locations, not named individuals, and franchisees can see their own results and the moments behind them. Brands that already mystery shop have had this conversation with their network; we just make the output fairer, more frequent and more useful for coaching.
What do we tell our franchisees?
The truth, and most brands tell them before the first round rather than after. The programme tests locations, not people, everyone is measured on the same scenarios in the same week, and each franchisee can see their own recordings. Networks that already run human mystery shopping have had this conversation before. The ones that have not usually find it lands better than expected, because for the first time the coaching is based on the same evidence for everybody. We will give you the wording if it is useful.
What does it cost?
Standard testing runs four scored calls per location, per week, and works out at roughly £40 to £80 per location, per month. That is sixteen scored calls for about the price of one single human test call. Locations with heavier call volume can be tested more often, priced on the call, and your first 10-call audit is free, so you see real scores before anything is signed.
How fast can we start?
Scorecard and scenarios are set up in days, not months. Most networks can have their first full round of calls scored within a week of signing the authorisation. New brands usually start with the free 10-call audit so you see real results before committing.
Do we need to change our phone system?
No. We place ordinary phone calls to the numbers your customers already use. Nothing to install, no numbers to port, no IT project.

1 of 5

How many locations answer their own phones?

A rough number is fine.

2 of 5

How many enquiry calls does a typical location take?

A rough weekly number is fine. Busier phones get tested more often.

Which sector are you in?

We build the test-call scenarios around your industry.

4 of 5

How do you check call handling today?

Honest answers make for a better audit. Most brands pick the third one.

We’re built for networks, but stay close

GhostShopper is designed for brands with multiple locations, so an audit wouldn’t tell you much about a single site just yet. Leave your email and we’ll tell you when our single-location product launches.

Last step: book your setup call. Twenty minutes to confirm your locations, agree the scenarios, and sign the authorisation. Your first scores land about a week later.
